More than 130 international students and their parents were welcomed by University of Virginia staff and alumni volunteers at Washington Dulles Airport and brought to Charlottesville on August 21.  The UVaExpress program was proposed and underwritten by Gordon Kirtland, President of the UVaClub of Singapore, and coordinated and staffed by the Office of Engagement.  In its first year, the program proved to be a great success and attracted the attention of local media.  Check out the stories below:
